Charlottenburg is a centre of entertainment and night life in Berlin. This place is very easy reach to all of the historical buildings and areas for the east and west divide of which collapsed in 1989.

Get in

You can get there by flight into about 4 different airports and taxi to Charlottenburg. Avoid going direct to Mitte, the town center.

See

Within this area is one of Berlins two large Zoos however the largest is about 8 kms (5 miles) away and only a ride on the S Bahn away.

Buy

The area is a great place for shopping where you will find most of the shops of the high streets of London and very competitive prices. It is a great tip to carry your passport so you can claim your tax back.

There are various hotels/motels/hostels in Charlottenburg itself, prices range from 40 Euros up to 1500 Euros a night. The majority have all facilities including wellness and fitness centres in their basements which are included in their prices.
