Budva is a coastal tourist resort in Montenegro. If you are looking for a great time clubbing with young Serbs and Montenegrins Budva is a great place to go. If you want peaceful swimming look elsewhere on the Montenegrin coast.

- Budva has a very nice old town that sticks out on a peninsula into the sea. The old town has been well 'developed' for tourists.
- If you happen to be in Budva and want peace a quiet go out on the peninsula on the southern side of the bay. There are not a lot less tourists there. The side of the peninsula facing Budva has some nice cliffs. If you can find a way down the cliffs there are some secluded beaches (often frequented by people interested in activities beyond just sunbathing). From there with a little swimming you can find some caves in the cliffs that you can swim into.
