- Campo Grande Youth Hostel, Rua Joaquim Nabuco 185, 0xx67-382-3504, 0xx67-321-0505. Hostelling International hostel with cheap private rooms and close to the bus terminal. Crowded with Israelis and the staff are annoyingly trying to sell their Pantanal tour. Most people stay here only before leaving to the Pantanal.

Most People come here to organise their trip to the Pantanal.
There is nothing ecological to the The Pantanal Ecological Expedition, but it's one of the budget tours to the Pantanal. The way it is sold at the Campo Grande Youth Hostel can be annoying to say the least, but it is still not a bad deal. For R$110 (ask one of the Isreali's what they pay before paying) you camp three days in the Pantanal and activities include hiking and animal spotting, horseback riding and piranha fishing. The tours are generally crowded with Israelis.
