Leon (province)

Leon is a province in Castile-Leon, Spain.
Leon is the northwestern province in the region of Castile-Leon, and has over the years been the capital of a region in its own right. The landscape is varied, and includes some dramatic scenery in the west by Ponferrada and in the northern mountains bordering Asturias.

- Valencia de Don Juan - This town has a fine romantic castle that has half slipped into the River Esla that it used to guard.
