Getting to know Westwood

Westwood is one of the many areas of Los Angeles, sometimes known as being part of West Los Angeles. Westwood an area, somewhere in between a neighborhood and a city, that surrounds the University of California, Los Angeles. Most of the area's highlights cater to the college atmosphere.

• The Getty Center is a short distance from UCLA campus. You can either drive there (up Sepulvida Blvd) or take a bus (catch it on Sunset and Bellagio Drive).

The larger premiers are held at either the Fox (the theater with the tall spire) or the Bruin (across the street). Sometimes they are held at the National, but not often.

If it's not an apartment party or a movie premier, most students go out for a drink either on the Sunset Strip (Saddle Ranch, Miyagi's) or in WeHo (West Hollywood).
