The International Peace Garden lies on the border between Manitoba and North Dakota. It is a garden/park dedicated to peace. It has a chapel, a gift store and snack bar, and a gigantic sculpture of 4 pillars. It has many smaller monuments such as a grid from the World Trade Center. The chapel is inscribed on the inside with peace messages from famous world leaders.

The park is accessible to Canadians and Americans without going through customs, even though the park technically lies within both nations, divided down it's middile by the border. This is supposed to be symbolic of peace.
