Misato is a central town of Kumamoto Prefecture, in Japan.

Understand
Misato is a new town. In fact, there were two towns before, Chuo and Tomochi, and the two towns merged each other. It takes about 40 minutes from Kumamoto city to go to Misato. The area is 144.03 square kilometers and woods are in three fourths of them.

- town hall There's a building like a castle of European design in the Middle Ages. That's the town hall of Misato.

- 3333 stone steps They're the most steps in Japan. To climb up them is so tired, but you must be satisfied when you can achieve the top!

- Sanzen(山善) It's shochu made from only Misato's rice. You can but it at samata no yu.
