Murray-Sunset National Park is in Victoria, Australia. The park is made up of semi-arid plain and four seasonal lakes.

Get in

Murray-Sunset is accessible by car from Melbourne (550 km), Adelaide (400 km from) or Mildura (50 km). Two-wheel drive autos need to use the gravel road from Linga on the Mallee Highway.

  • Pine Lakes formerly the site of commercial salt harvesting.
  • Pink Lakes so called for the color of alga in the lake. Note the lakes are dry in summer.

Murray Sunset has several options for camping both primitive and with facilities (toilets, showers, BBQ, etc) as well as a hostel, Shearer's Hut.
