New Haven is a city in Connecticut.
New Haven was the first planned city in the United States; its original downtown was laid out in a 3x3 grid with the center left as green space. Although the rest of the city has grown in a more haphazard fashion, the Green endures as a public park.
The Greater New Haven Convention and Visitors Bureau is the town's official tourist info center.
