Oltenia

Oltenia or Lesser Wallachia is a historical province of Romania. It is situated between the Danube, the Transylvanian Alps branch of the Carpathian Mountains and the Olt river (although counties to the east run across the river in some areas).
The main city of Oltenia is Craiova. Other cities are Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Râmnicu Vâlcea, Slatina, and Târgu Jiu.
