Pierce County is in the north central area of North Dakota. It has a population of 4,675 people and an area of 1,018 square miles. The county seat of Pierce County is Rugby, which is the geographical center of North America [1] at a latitude of 48° 21’ 19" and longitude 99° 59' 57" West. Pierce County includes 10 towns and 14 townships.
