Understand
Meat, alcohol and drugs are forbidden in Pushkar.
During the annual Pushkar cattle fair held in October and November, the city is awash with tourists. At other times, the town is peaceful and calm.

No airports at Pushkar. Nearest airport is in Jaipur.

Take a taxi or rickshaw from Ajmer. Frequent buses are available from Ajmer.

From Delhi, regular trains are available till Ajmer.
