São Paulo is a state in southeast Brazil.

Cities

  • Santos. The largest port in Brazil.
  • Campinas. An industrial city, the second largest in the state.
  • Campos do Jordão. A lovely mountain city covered by lots of Brazilian Pines, with nice temperature, euro architecture, cobblestone streets, and small shops, famous by its Winter Classical Music Festival, every year.
  • Holambra. Near Campinas, a city of dutch colonization and greater producer in Brazil of flowers. In the end of winter, every year, there is the "Expoflora", an exhibition of flowers and dutch-typically dances and presentations.
  • Itu Great historical city, owns the title of "The Brazilian Rome" and is famous for their BIG things
  • Ribeirão Preto. Called sometimes with the nickname "The Brazilian California". It's the third greatest city in the state, after Campinas and São Paulo City.
  • São José dos Campos. Industrial and high-tech city, headquarters of the Aeronauthic Brazilian Institute.
  • Ilhabela. A beach city, with some of the most beautiful beaches in the state.
  • Barretos. In the northern side of the state, it's famous for the rodeos. Every year there is the "Festa do Peão do Boiadeiro".
  • Embu das Artes. Near the city of São Paulo, it's famous for the street painters. It's called the "Art City".
  • Eldorado Paulista. In the extreme south of the state, has the "Caverna do Diabo" (The Devil's Cave), onte of the most beautiful caves in Brazil.
  • Louveira. Between São Paulo City and Campinas, has every year the "Festa da Uva" (The Grape Party). This city is one of the largest producers of wine in Brazil.
  • São Caetano do Sul. Close to São Paulo City, it's the brazilian city with the best standard of life.
  • São Paulo City. The large, rich and cosmopolitan capital of São Paulo, with its large number of museums, theaters, restaurant, malls, offices and annual and international events. It's one of the best city for business tourism in the world.
  • Sorocaba. Labouring city, once known as "Manchester" of Sao Paulo state.
