Get in

By car

Follow the road from Cape Town to the Cape of Good Hope along the east side of the peninsula.

By train

There is a regular Metro service to Cape Town, which terminates in Simonstown. Be sure to buy a first-class ticket. It is not very expensive and offers you the comfort one should expect from a train. Altough saftey is still an issue, Metrorail (the train company) has done a lot and safety guards are present in most trains all the time. Especially the Simonstown line is considered safe and reliable.

By Air

Well you will have to use the airport at Cape Town to get into the region. You can also go on a trip with Civair from the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town along the Cape Peninsula.
