Soulac is a city in Aquitaine, France.

Understand

Soulac-sur-Mere is definitely worth a visit. Even though it is a small village near the Atlantic in July and August it is crowded with ten of thousands of tourists, mainly French, some Dutch, some German and some from UK.

Weather

In summer 2004 the weather in France was not so good, except in Soulac. While it rained 15 km away from the coast, the sun was shining almost all the time in Soulac.

Do

Soulac lies directly next to the beach. The main shopping streets ends at the beach. There you find a youth club, where you can make sports like beach volleyball or surfing etc.
