Vancouver South is the Southern part of the Vancouver west side.
This includes the neighborhoods of Kerrisdale, Oakridge, Marpole and portions of Dunbar, Arbutus Ridge, Shaughnessy and South Cambie.

Vancouver South is served by Vancouver's trolley bus system.

- Van Dusen Botanical Gardens 5251 Oak St. Open 10am to around sunset (varies from 4pm to 9pm depending on time of year). Van Dusen has a very large collection of plants in the outdoor gardens. Adults $7.50, Seniors, and Youth less.
- Queen Elizabeth Park includes the highest point in the City of Vancouver with a view of the entire city. There are a number of gardens within the park as well as the domed Bloedel Floral Observatory with tropical plants and birds.

Shop
West 41st Avenue between Larch Street and Maple Street is a major shopping destination.

This area tends to have fewer restaurants than the rest of Vancouver.

Drink
There are no nightclubs and only a few neighbourhood pubs.

Sleep
There are not many hotels in this area area. Most of the hotels that do exist are along Marine Drive. This is primarily because of the proximity of this area to the airport.
