Shirahama beach is crowded with tourists every summer. The water is clear and there are lots of hotels in near the beach.
The three shrines of Kumanokodo, namely Kumanohayatama, Kumanonachi and Kumanonimasu, have been named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
